Valine is a branched chain non-polar α-amino acid containing five carbon atoms, which has a wide range of applications in human nutrition additives, feed additives, flavorings, pharmaceuticals, pesticides and health products. v-innovate Technologies can provide high performance liquid chromatography - mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS) to detect amino acids, which can target and quantitatively detect valine and related valine metabolites in the constituent proteins, ensuring that it can provide customers with scientific, accurate and comprehensive valine analysis report.
Valine is a spinning compound and is classified as L-valine or D-valine. Chemically synthesized methionine is type L. L-valine is one of the 20 amino acids that make up proteins and is an essential amino acid for mammals and a sugar-generating amino acid. D-valine is present in some actinomycins such as valinomycin. In animals, L-Valine is readily absorbed by the intestinal wall and has twice the physiological effect of D-valine.
Animals cannot synthesize valine on their own and must consume it from food to meet their nutritional requirements. Meat, fish, dairy products and eggs are the richest food sources of valine. Valine promotes normal growth of the body, repairs tissues, regulates blood sugar, and provides needed energy. In addition, branched-chain amino acids are used as supplements for exercise training, cachexia syndrome (muscle atrophy) and strengthening muscle protein synthesis during aging. With the development of mass spectrometry-based amino acid metabolomics technology, valine metabolism characteristics in specific disease types can be determined to better guide researchers to use these valine and related metabolic pathways as targets for intervention and treatment research. The HPLC-MS method can realize the quantitative analysis of valine with high analytical speed and high analytical sensitivity.

In our operating technical process, the sample processing does not need derivatization, and can be directly injected for analysis, which simplifies the sample pretreatment process and reduces detection errors.

Quantitation method: standard curve method (external standard method or isotope-labeled internal standard method)
Quantitative limit: the lowest amount of accurate quantification of the sample, the S/N of the chromatographic peak is> 10:1
Analytical standards: HPLC ≥ 98%
Sensitivity: ≤10-11g
The flow rate of the mobile phase in the column: reach 1-10ml/min
