v-innovate Technologies provides one-stop high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) services covering a wide variety of plant targeted metabolomics service. Our o-glycosylated flavonoids analysis services use HPLC technologies to deliver high resolution and reliable identification and quantification of o-glycosylated flavonoids.
O-glycosylated flavonoids are an important group of flavonoids. The common o-glycosylated flavonoids mainly include quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide and quercetin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside. Quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide can be derived from dried whole grasses of hedyotis diffusa willd, flowers of gossypiumherbaceum L, or the leaf of apocynum lanci-folium rus, which can also be prepared by chemical synthesis. Quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide is soluble in DMSO, alkaline water, insoluble in fat-soluble organic solvents. It is a yellow acicular crystal in water, and soluble in alkaline solution shows deep yellow. Quercetin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside can be derived from sophora flavescens ait, generally soluble in DMSO, methanol and other solvents, but insoluble in petroleum ether. Because o-glycosylated flavonoids have a wide range of uses, it is very important to establish the method for the analysis of o-glycosylated flavonoids in plant metabolites. High performance liquid chromatography is a sensitive analytical technique that enables detection, identification and quantification of a variety of o-glycosylated flavonoids by characterizing their chemical structure, even at low abundance. Improved extraction and purification steps can also increase the sensitivity of the analytical method.
Since different tissues have different matrix properties, v-innovate Technologies has developed multiple novel sample preparation techniques. Our services allow the profiling of various types of o-glycosylated flavonoids, including quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucuronide, quercetin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, etc.
